An interesting article I read courtesy of MSN.ca.  In a nutshell – there is no privacy of information on Facebook.  Thanks to tools like Openbook even non-friends can troll to see if you got smashed the night before, if you cut class or work, or what meds your doctor just put  you on.  The article gives a rundown on what you need to do to really protect your privacy on Fbook – set aside some time to do this.
